Promoting better CNC #education at EMO Milano
Posted by Bert Maes on October 2, 2009
I’m off to Milano, Italy. Probably the most fashionable among all Italian cities.
5 to 10 October 2009, Milano is the host of the two-yearly EMO “machine tool world exhibition“ for machines, systems, robots and automation products.
I’ll be there to promote better CNC manufacturing education.
>> We have to build a stronger manufacturing basis for our economy. At the very heart of manufacturing is a well trained, highly motivated CNC workforce. People educated on the very latest CNC technology and with the know-how and skills to get the best from it, to make those millions of metal/aluminum products and technologies you are using every day.
Many more young people in manufacturing education – That’s what the ‘Haas Technical Education Center (HTEC)’ long-term partnership program aims to achieve, by supporting committed principals and teachers with cutting edge CNC technology and teaching materials, at unmatched conditions.
